MUSICAL SYNERGY. it's a combined concert with tpjc's concert band and guitar ensemble. together with the tampines east cc drum group. big THANK YOU to those who have taken time off their busy schedule and watch my performance. [ menghiang, thanks for ur bouquet of blue roses. [ zijun and eric, thanks for the bouquet of blue roses too. [ helen, thanks for the bouquet of sunflower. [ huilin, thanks for the rose. [ jieying, mel, amanda yee, vivian choo, franz thanks for the flower. [ sam and michelle, thanks for the rose. [rachel, thanks for the rose too.] the time on stage was short. but i kept every min deep in my heart. it might be my last time performing there. like daphne said. VCH is definitely a memorable place for me. my 2003 syf was there. appassionato I and II were there. Konzert 05 was there. and now.. Musical Synergy. the final concert to bid goodbye to the stage. alrite. main point. reached sch early. bout 845. helped out to do dr lee's gift. and soon. the buses came. reached VCH. warmed up and started our rehearsal. den guitar came. and soon lunch. den technical dry run. we were too tired and started going cranky. picture taking session. lol. soon. daph and i went to the back of the hall and went mad. i can really imitate aye?! lol. oh well. soon dinner time. and it's time to dress up and get ready for the show. 715. we were on stage. and soon. our first piece. MERRY WIDOW. well done grace. u did it!! well done guys. it was great. next up. A MOVEMENT FOR ROSA. well done chonghui. u were great!! well done soloists.. ZHIJIE..FARHAN..YUYING..AIN..SHIMIN.. den it was guitar ensemble. helen and menghiang sneaked to the back and passed me my bouquets. lol. so touched. den it was interval and time to get ready for second half. saw jieying and group. abit kan chiong.. coz.. i couldnt find eehern and my file!! lol. so yeah. luckily i did. lol.. back on stage. El Capitan, Toccata Marziale and Japanese Tunes. soon. the concert came to an end. and. the emofied me appeared. the sudden shock of me not being able to touch bass clar. the sudden absence of band practs. the sudden absence of my section mates. and of coz. the sudden absence of my beloved conductor. DR LEE. all these.. and my tears came.. back on stage to take picture with G.O.H. Mr Mah Bow Tan. and it was prize giving to Dr Lee. and the tears kept flowing. it's hard to bid goodbye. coz.. I DONT WANT TO!! back to sch. silent on the bus. a lot of emotions. trail of thoughts. - nearing 2 yrs of band life in tpjc concert band, i've learnt alot thru music wise and thru being a leader. - big thanks to the teachers and seniors whu have chosen me to be in the admin dept. many times, i screwed things up. but they nv failed to cheer me on and encourage me. thru this, i learnt a lot. big thanks to dr lee too. constantly there with his patience and guidance to teach us about his commandments and musical concepts. with that, i definitely learnt more in playing my bass clar properly. i really cant bear to say goodbye to this band. i cant say goodbye to my batch mates. i will definitely miss them all. and i mean ALL. regardless of the numerous disputes or disagreements, we cant deny the fact that we had lots of fun times. with that, we make a BAND.. and now that the J2s are stepping down, the BAND is forthe J1s to carry on. anyway. today is 1st National Band Competition. met kenny huijuan and xiufeng at city hall at 1pm. alrite. i was late. sorry la kenny bro. lol. so we went marina square to have our lunch. left the place. and walked to Victoria Concert Hall. watched all the bands compete. and soon. the results. den headed back to CCHY with the juniors. super late. super hungry. left sch. and headed to north point's BK. lol. yum yum. soon. kenny met up with christina. weijie took a bus home. xiufeng and i took train. =) home sweet home. - misses euu. do u noe? it hurts. badly. - |

Chung Cheng High School Yishun Symphonic Band. El Capitan and Fate of The Gods. a score of 84.5%. 2nd highest in 2nd division. WELL DONE GUYS!! u did the school proud. after so long. so many yrs of clinching high silvers for SYF. finally. the time has come. a GOLD for us. though we have changed our name from Chung Cheng High Branch Military Band to Chung Cheng High Yishun Symphonic Band, it's still the same to us. coz we're led under the baton of Mr Toh Yang Yang. it still feels like home. upon hearing the results, loud cheers were heard. tears of joy. hugs and handshakes. U GUYS DID WELL! and now. for N-lvl and O-lvl members. it's time to really study for ur prelims and actual major exam. no more fooling around. so JIAYOU!!! =) once again.. WELL DONE!! |

went to city hall to meet mel and mag. franz met us later coz he din charge his hp. choo was watchin movie with bf first. so yup. went shopping. and... mel can really shop la! lol. den had lunch at mos burger. talked soo much.. said sooo much... laughed sooo much... lol. alrite. den franz came. we crossed over to suntec. shopped a bit more. and got some food for later's parade. took a cab down to stadium. waited for choo. den we went in. the sun is super hot la! super irritated. the parade was good. but the performance.. not so.. lol. in love with the ndp 2006 song... by gong shi jia.. =) after the parade. we all went cranky taking more pics and pretending we were performers. lol. mad mad mad. love this bunch.. =) |

alrite. it's late to write but it now. but i will definitely not missed this memorable event. A LIFE IN COLOR. TPJC PANORAMA. Band. CO. Choir. Guitar. Chinese Dance. Malay Dance. Modern Dance. Kumpang. Dikir Barak. Drama. these were the outstanding performing art groups which performed their best on the stage of esplanade. WELL DONE GUYS! the night ended quite fast. on stage. when drama group came out for their last segment. it meant tat concert is ending...soon... alrite. b4 that... hwaee lynn mag daph me michelle joce.. etc etc.. were busy taking pictures. definitely memories to keep. den it was more breaks and rehearsals. we were exhausted. but still kept our energy going till 730pm! den the concert started. first up. well done grace for conducting santana. second. well done aidross fo conducting merry widow. den it would be well done to changyu for conducting CO. and the finale. well done to weiliang for conducting our shared dreams. the concert hall was filled. it was near full house. on stage. i felt the warmth and support the school has given us. no matter wad concert.. choir. band. CO. guitar... our parents. teachers. friends. are always there to lend their support with cheers and applauses. juz so touched. at the end. we were on stage. gave 3 cheers to respective people like our conductors. teachers. and of coz.. TO EVERYONE too.. it was such a memorable night. den it was photo taking. and there. i broke down. coming this far with tpjcband. and now stepping down and leaving my duties to the next generation. I MISS TPJCBAND. i really really do. den. stop my EMO self. and started to pack up. back to sch. again. my thoughts were distracted. hwaee and michelle were there... den daph and mag... sigh... celebration was yday but actual day is TODAY.. yday. woke up and fell asleep on the couch again. lazy me shocked myself up at 1230. and msged mag. luckily we decided to meet at 1pm. lol. met franz and mag at parkway. had lunch at Mos Burger. BURSTING out with laughters when we read mel's msg. LOL. alrite. the thing was. mag and her were on the phone in the morning. mag kept asking her to come. mel din wan. den mel decided to give us a surprise. BUT.. she realised she din noe the way.. lol.. oops gal... din mean to laugh.. but.. LOL.. =) enuff..lol.. we decided to go walk ard first b4 she arrived. after tat. met her and walked to roxy for their hair cut. BUT..
